The Gold package is perfect if you just wish to capture the essence of the day. Lots of slow motion and cinematic shots that will give you and your loved ones a chance to relive the whole day in short videos set to beautiful music.​ The following points are what you can expect from myself on the day of your wedding and what we do behind the scenes in the edit room. These points are a basic layout of the day but we will discuss the finer details in our pre-wedding consultation.

ARRIVAL

• I will arrive at your accommodation in the morning and after some quick "hellos" will get right into capturing footage. Filming of the wedding dress, hair and makeup, the attachment of the veil, smiles on the faces of the bride and bridesmaids, putting on the kilt jacket or bow tie, and the couple hanging out with their respective wedding parties.

PRE-CEREMONY PHOTO SHOOT

• If you have a photographer in attendance also then I will capture some posed shots of the couples and their wedding parties and some behind the scenes of the photographer taking the photos. 

GUESTS ARRIVAL

• It is here that I will make my way to the venue for the ceremony where I will capture the guests arrival and, time/location permitting, some drone shots of the venue. 

CAR ARRIVAL

• Stepping out of the car and entering the venue before going into the venue and awaiting the next shot.

WALKING THE AISLE

• Filming the beginning of the ceremony; the entrance of couple, the reactions to seeing each other for the first time during the wedding.

THE CEREMONY

• Capturing the rings being placed on each others fingers, the smiles and the first kiss. I may be walking around at this point but I'll not be intrusive and if you have a photographer I will be working side-by-side with them.

THE RECEPTION

• You've done it! Now it's time to party! Off to the reception! Here is where I'll get shots of guests drinks, general mingling, smiles and joy. You may also have some posed photographs at this point around the reception venue so I will also capture some of this. 

SPEECHES 

• I will get some shots of the guests sitting and the wedding party entering and taking their seat. Moving around the room I will film the speeches and guests reactions. 

DINNER

• It's here that I will capture some of the food arriving before taking a short break and grab some food whilst you and your guests enjoy theirs. 

DANCING

• It is first dance time! I will capture the newly married couple having their first dance and the cheers and smiles of the guests.

VIDEO EDITING

• As you may be aware, the editing process is where the magic happens! Please allow up to 6 weeks for your wedding video to be ready but usually it can be turned around in a couple of weeks. I will be sourcing Licensed music, gathering the shots to use, editing the videos together and colour correcting. I will send a YouTube link to a private video for your chance to see it before I transfer it to you.

DELIVERY OF YOUR VIDEO

• Your video is complete! File transfer of both videos can be done via your preferred choice of Dropbox, WeTransfer or Google Drive.

The Diamond package offers you a chance to view all the highlights of the day with the added bonus of additional angles and full sound and video recordings of the ceremony and speeches included in your 20 - 60 minute length wedding video. Relive your day in full with the Gold package with a sneak peek trailer video within a week of your wedding, and view the highlights in a separate short video perfect for social media before you get your full film sent to you on a personalised wooden USB in a personalised wooden box. • Depending on time I can also capture a "first look" in your wedding dress. This can be done with family members, bridesmaids and/or your husband or wife-to-be. 

GUESTS ARRIVAL

• It is here that I will make my way to the venue or downstairs to the ceremony space for the ceremony where I will capture the guests arrival and, time/location permitting, some drone shots of the venue. This is where I will set up the 2 additional cameras on tripods to capture an additional angles.

CAR ARRIVAL

• Stepping out of the car and entering the venue before going into the venue and awaiting the next shot.

WALKING THE AISLE

• Filming the beginning of the ceremony; the entrance of couple, the reactions to seeing each other for the first time during the wedding.

THE CEREMONY

• Capturing the rings being placed on each others fingers, the smiles and the first kiss. I may be walking around at this point but I'll not be intrusive and if you have a photographer I will be working side-by-side with them.

• There will be 2 cameras set up on tripods in the ceremony space. Recording mics will be placed on the groom, the wedding officiant and possibly anybody doing a reading. A directional mic will be attached to one of the stationary cameras as a final backup for sound.

• I will be roaming around with a handheld camera as a 3rd angle.

THE RECEPTION

• You've done it! Now it's time to party! Off to the reception! Here is where I'll get shots of guests drinks and canapés, general mingling, smiles and joy. You may also have some posed photographs at this point around the reception venue so I will also capture some of this. 

SPEECHES 

• I will get some shots of the guests sitting and the wedding party entering and taking their seat. Moving around the room I will film the speeches and guests reactions. 

• There will be 2 cameras set up on tripods during the speeches and a recording mic will be attached to the microphone used during the speeches. I can also attach recording mics to the lapels of those giving speeches.

DINNER

• It's here that I will pack up the gear and go and grab some food whilst you and your guests enjoy theirs. 

DANCING

• It is first dance time! I will capture the newly married couple having their first dance and the cheers and smiles of the guests. I will be staying until at least the third dance to capture the party but usually I stay until I have enough footage of people busting some moves.

• Sometimes the cake cut happens just before the first dance so I will capture this. I will film this whenever it happens during your big day.

VIDEO EDITING

• As you may be aware, the editing process is where the magic happens! Please allow up to 6 weeks for your wedding full film to be ready. I will be sourcing Licensed music, gathering the shots to use, editing the videos together and colour correcting. I will send a YouTube link to a private watermarked video for your chance to provide some edit requests.

• Your trailer should be with you within a week of your wedding and the highlights within 6 weeks.

• During the busy summer wedding season I may fall behind slightly but I haven't in the past. I'll be sure to keep you up to date though and let you know where you are in the edit queue.

DELIVERY OF YOUR VIDEO

• Your videos are complete! File transfer of both videos can be done via your preferred choice of Dropbox, WeTransfer or Google Drive.

• I will send your personalised USB to your home address via tracked Royal Mail.

You've decided to scrap the need for a big wedding and elope, and where better to do so than in the Scottish Highlands! For elopements the price will be decided on a case-to-case basis but as a minimum the cost for filming and editing will be £1000 which includes travel to and from your elopement location (this can sometimes be upwards of a 6 hour round trip) as well as filming of your ceremony and then filming some scenes in your chosen location. For your edit at this price you will also get a short highlight video as can be seen here and you will also get your full ceremony video transferred to you so you can share it with your friends and family. Any other additions for arriving earlier or staying later can be discussed.
